Snape's last scene in Harry Potter really bugged me when I read it. The sudden montage of "OMG he totally loved Lily Potter" rubbed me completely the wrong way, and I was outright angry that he was dying on the floor without anyone trying a thing. An "episkey" or two wouldn't have drained them, "accio" is Harry's big spell ("accio" plus what you learned in book six, Potter, put it together and it's "accio bezoar"). That was mildly irritating.
